As a modern re-telling of the ancient morality play Everyman, Everybody tackles issues such as the randomness of death, the meaning of life, and also how racism and capitalism play a role in our lives.

As a convention set by Jacobs-Jenkins, an ensemble of five actors undergoes an on-stage lottery every night to determine which role they will play. This creates some unique costuming challenges.
